I had called you at 813.679.5750 and you were busy ar a site at the time, so I figured that this is a better way of communicating. As I showed your workers and explained to them, we have 1 existing antenna on this tower that substained damage during Hurricanes Francais, Jeanne and finally Wilma. It is leaning to the sw at about the 350 ft level. We have purchased and have at the site a replacement antenna as well as a second antenna to go up on the tower as well. There is also another amateur group that has a 900 mhz antenna to go up as well. Both our antennas are 2 meter vhf antennas, one to replace the exisiting and the other to go on a vacaded hardline near the top of the tower. We have had both hardlines swept and they appear ok. Are you looking for new business and are you interested in quoting our project? We have been working with S7S towers out of Okeechobee until they stopped their interest in the tower climbing business. We do have a time table to get this done by the end of March. Before we can have that done we would like to have the existing hardware tested (antenna may have taken a lightening strike) and if need be replaced for optimal performance. We need to gather information from these towers to complete our side of the job: MP 180', SST 250', GT 350' The information we need is the specifics on all members, bolts, joints, coax, antennas and foundations. We need exact measurements, and thickness of all of these items. Special tools are required to measure the thickness of these components. This information is very critical to our work and must be very accurate. Currently the amount of towers is unknown. We are preparing for expected sites. We need to work with a company who we can rely on when these sites come. The time frame is unknown, although usually there is about one week to complete each site. This may vary depending on the circumstances. Yes, the sites are randomly located in Florida and most of them will be in concentrated areas. Attached is our standard mapping forms. It is a self-supported 498 ft tall structure owned by Crown Castle International. The Antenna is an Andrew DB616-BC Omni. It is 19 feet long and weighs 51 pounds. We are requesting the install to be located at a height of 340 ft. The feedline type is a 7/8 Heliac. We did receive mounting hardware with the antenna, but as I discussed with you, would prefer to use whatever mounting brackets you recommend.
